Random Numbers presents it's new digital release series called "out of the confort zone". For the first release we invited ambient artist Demetrio Cecchitelli to challenge the wide spectrum of club oriented music. “Club Odyssey” is in fact a series of recordings with an exclusive license of creation between the musician and the label.
This is the first so-called “dance” record by Cecchitelli that mostly influenced by producers like Matthew Herbert, Jan Jelinek, Vladimir Ivkovic and Donato Dozzy to name a few, evokes some hidden facets of the retro-mania in the fields of micro-house, post-glitch but somehow also minimal, techno and chill out particles within the 15 minutes (ca.) the digital EP has.
“Odyssey” meant as an exploration into the ‘studium’ and ‘continuum’ of the musical genre, sometimes focusing on melted and organic rhythms, others to repetitive, semantic layers adding and giving a space to drift, as long as fluttering in altered temporal dimensions till the sunrise.
